Staying focused
1)Start with a plan
a. Seems simple, but get up every morning at the same time, take a shower, get dressed as if you are going to work.
b. Design a plan for the day. Here is an example:
i. From 8am-10am, I will find jobs that sound interesting, and
copy/paste the link.
ii. From 10am-11:30am, I will apply to those jobs.
iii. Lunch 11:30am – 12:30pm – plan to rest, de-stress, pray, and
enjoy time off.
iv. 12:30pm – 3pm – Call friends, colleagues, associates, and
anyone else you can think of, to let them know you
are out of work. After time, this block can be used to follow up
on callbacks, leads, and jobs that you have applied for, where the number is found.
v. 3pm to 5pm – Finish calls, and construct a plan for the next day.
