Good Works
Having heard the gospel of Jesus Christ, it is the intent of the Good Works Ministry to reflect His glory and to honor His sacrifice of death on a cross. We do this by helping our brothers in need with great joy, in anticipation of the return of Jesus Christ.
Sometimes it's hard to quantify Good Works. It's hard to be able to tell what things have been done and how much our church family works together for good. Look at how much our family has helped each other in the last two years. It will amaze you. Thank you to each and every one of you, because without you I couldn't do all of the things we do.Each family that has been the recipient of our help has been so thankful.
We also depend on all of you to let us know when there is a specific need that we need to fill. If no one tells us, we would never know who was sick or who just had a baby or who needed encouraging. We depend on you to let us know if there is a need somewhere in our church family.
Here's what we did in the last two years:
Cooked and delivered 269 meals (that's one meal every 3 days, for 2 years!)
Fed 45 families
Visited and encouraged 4 hurting individuals
Helped three families get back on their feet
Provided specific things people asked for (bike, tires for a car, etc)
Gave away extra furniture
Fed 75 people in mourning
