Stephen Ministry

Personalized, confidential care when you go through hard times.
  • You may need short term care to get through temporary situations that have caused you grief or anxiety; the loss of a job, illness of self or family member, maybe the loss of a spouse, child or close friend.
  • You may be in need of long term care. For instance being confined at home or in hospitals, or nursing homes with long term disabilities or illnesses.
Stephen ministers are specially trained to use listening, process oriented tools to aid in recovery and acceptance, working with you toward spiritual and practical goals. Stephen Ministers receive over 50 hours of training and spend many more hours in special peer supervisions sessions where the minister can become refreshed and be guided through methods how to better serve you (always with the strictest confidentiality of the care receiver being maintained)
